Hall (Alfred B.) House is built.

(ca.) (1940-BGL) One of five contiguous houses, it is located at 28 Marlborough Street. The merchant and his wife are first occupants. Subsequent occupants include shipping merchant Henry Grew and yachtsman Maximilian Agassiz. The building is converted to apartments in 1954 and into condominiums by This Old House host Bob Villa in 1979.
